A unique and contemporary kilt pin.
Abstracted from the traditional Claymore kilt pin, this modern design will give any kilted gentleman a contemporary edge. The perfect accessory for any kilted wedding or formal occaision. It has been crafted by faceting a length of reclaimed wood from a bagpipe maker's workshop. To the top facet of the main wooden body, sterling silver with the imprint of a Highland bracken leaf has been added - it really couldn't be more Scottish! The edges of the pin show a flash of golden bronze.
The kilt pin is secured in place with a double pin - making sure it will stay in place during any vigorous ceilidh dancing.
Each kilt pin is unique, no two are the same due to the hand fabrication tecniques that are used to produce this piece.
The pin is made from blackwood, silver and bronze. The pin itself is steel.
The lenght of the kilt pin is 8.5cm, the width (at its widest point) is 1.6cm and it has a depth of 0.9 cm.
