About Me

Helping you say 'I saw this and thought of you!' since 2020

Hi, I'm Eva, the one-woman band behind Callisto Design Co. I live and work in the very beautiful city of York, creating new designs and packing up orders to send all over the UK.

After rediscovering my love of painting during the very first lockdown in spring 2020, I started creating cards to send a little love to far-flung friends and family. After a lot of encouragement (and some nagging) from everyone, I decided to have a go at selling some designs, and Callisto Design Co. was born!

There's nothing better than looking for a card or gift for someone you love and finding the exact right one that suits them down to the ground. So I've made it my mission to help you say 'I saw this and thought of you!' and really mean it, with plenty of quirky, personal designs.

So whether your friends and family are dungaree-wearers, mountain climbers, bookworms, passionate feminists, or they just really love collage chickens (someone's got to!), then I hope you can find exactly the right card or print to let them know you care.

(Don't worry...I've got plenty of not-quite-so-personal cards for your in-laws and work colleagues too!)

My Values

Sustainable - Inclusive - Proudly made in Yorkshire

Sustainable:

Being eco-friendly is absolutely central to my business. All products are printed onto card made from recycled brewer's grain, which adds a beautiful flecked texture, and uses up what would otherwise be a waste product. All packaging is recyclable and mostly recycled, and I do my best to use all local suppliers.

Inclusive:

Many of my best-sellers have started out special requests from people who couldn't find the right card for them and asked me to design one specially, such as a Hanukkah card, and a card aimed at people who find Mother's Day difficult. This made me realise just how many people can't find cards that represent them, and and I'd love to help change that. I have now set myself a goal over the next year to try to make my designs as inclusive and representative as I can, for lots of different occasions!

Delivery

Orders will be dispatched in 1-3 working days and sent Royal Mail Second Class as standard.

Cards are sent 'naked' to reduce waste and any packaging is recyclable and mostly made from recycled materials. Please try to reuse or recycle it if you can.
