A genuine vintage French botanical chart framed in a beautiful solid oak frame to add a touch of vintage to your home.
This print was used in French schools and was part of a box-set of vintage prints which were used in the biology lessons. This plate depics the 'Elaphomyces Granulatus' also named the Deer Truffle, the most abundant and widespread of all false truffles, fruiting spring through fall. On the back of the print there is a full explanation and description of the truffle in French and on the front the name is printed in both Latin and French. The colour are lovely and fresh.
