About Us

Have you wanted to do something creative for a while, but didn't know where to start? We’re making it easy! Everything you need in one box to help you start.

Meet 'ART IN A BOX' team based at the Studio at The Old School, Whixley , about ten miles outside York in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.

Rachel lives with her husband, four children, two dogs and a grumpy cat called George. She is a qualified teacher with a passion for learning and sharing. She has been successfully running Art Classes and Workshops in North Yorkshire and is the founder and driving force behind Art in a Box.

Sarah’s has a background in administration and keeps everyone organised. She provides top notch customer service.

Lisa provides the nuts and bolts of Art in a Box. She is in charge of getting those boxes out!

Polly has been with us since day one providing advise and help when her time allows.

Claire is our super experienced art tutor. Based in Leeds she has vast experience of teaching both adults and children.

Freya a keen actress and artist presents fabulous demonstrations.

Charlie an experienced filmmaker produces our art videos.

Delivery

Postage is free for all UK orders.

We aim to send all orders in 1-3 working days.

We send our UK boxes by second class, Royal Mail. We not deliver to PO boxes.

Currently we only ship to addresses within the UK.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer our boxes internationally, however, we are hoping this will be an option in the future.

If you are anticipating a delivery and it hasn’t shown up as expected, don’t panic! Please let us know by emailing us and we will investigate.

While we try our best to carefully package our boxes, we understand that sometimes an item may be missing from a box, or that things may happen beyond our control during transit.

If your box contents are damaged or you are missing any items, please contact us and we will send out a replacement straight away.
