If you choose to have your own handwriting engraved, then all you need to do is write your message in black ink using a fine black pen on a space covering approximately 7.2cm wide by 3.6cm tall (the relative dimensions of the cufflinks which measure 2.4cm wide by 1.2cm tall) and send it to us in JPEG format with your order; alternatively let us know the message you would like engraving and the font you would like it engraving in. Upto 20 characters a line (including spaces and full stops, etc) and upto a maximum of four lines can be engraved, though it does need to be borne in mind that the longer your message the smaller the writing will be .. also if you have very elaborate handwriting with tall first letters for words, this can take up more space and so the rest of the writing will be comparatively smaller - best to envisage what your message will look like on a space the actual size of each cufflink when creating your design.
