Vintage fruit crates circa late 1960's. Use as seed trays, planters or fruit and vegetable storeage - a practical and personalised gift for gardeners!
The crates are sturdy and in very good condition.
Personalisation:- Text on one long side is included in the price and can be in capitals or lower case. Text on each side is optional at a small extra charge (£1.50 per side). You can choose to leave the back of the crate with the original farmers name, date and manufacturer or have it blank or we can personalise this too (an extra £2).

01 Jan 2012I have to say I was a little disappointed with my most recent purchase of two crates for my parents. One of the crates had a broken strip of wood with a bit missing and the wood was a bit scrappy. I have bought a crate before which was much better even though it was the same product.

The vintage crates were bought from a local farmer and vary in age and condition and it is difficult to standardise quality due to the fact that they have been used in the fields for the last 40 years.
