  Mia had put draft of chalkboard on-line but I couldn't view it as I was only a Guest on the main web site. This slowed the process down a bit. When ordering, the main web site needs to direct customer towards joining the web site 'officially', otherwise problems such as these occur. Mia was very helpful and friendly.

  I was slightly disappointed that the personalised words were plastic letters and not hand painted. This would give the board a much better finish. Supplying a piece of chalk would bea nice touch too.

  I was so happy with the personalised chalkboard I had bought as a wedding gift - it was absolutely beautiful. Very impressed with the quality. Additionally the service itself was fantastic. I received earlier than expected and was kept informed all the way. I liked having the proof as well - we didnt make any changes but it was reassuring to see a mock up before receiving the end result in the post.

  This was absolutely brilliant, the recipents loved it and was one of the main topics of conversation at their house warming party. Getting the proof and being able to do little tweaks before the final production is great as well, totally recommend treating someone or yourself to one of these!

  The chalkboard is really lovely and unique, I am very pleased with it and the website cannot display just how lovely the boards are. Mia was helpful in minor changes that needed doing, however I do think customer service could be better if you are able to contact the seller by phone and not just email. This was time consuming and a bit impersonal.

  I was thrilled to begin with, I wrote on it with chalk, left it there for a few days and went to wipe off. The black paint on the chalk board started coming off too, that was the first time I'd used it!

  Hi Elizabeth Thank you for your comments. It is unlikely that the paint will be coming off when using a damp cloth to remove the chalk. What is more likely happening is known as 'ghosting'. This is common when the blackboard is used for the first time. The way to overcome this is to wipe the blackboard 2-3 times with a damp cloth. Over several uses the problem should go away. If this is not the case then we will happily replace the board or give a refund. The blackboard paint we use is the best on the market. It is Blackfriar blackboard paint and further advice can be found on their website regarding the performance of this coating Thanks again for your comments Mia

  Absolutely fantastic. Mia went out of her way to put our individual motif's on the board. She was happy to look at weblinks and experiment, giving feedback to every stage. It's now has the pride of place on our wall. Thanks Mia, it's stunning

  very pleased with the product received and the seller was brilliant. very nice and helpful and prompt. however i found the notonthehighstreet chat method convoluted and frustrating, and even had to switch browsers to get it to work. Had a big issue with the courier used. Absolutely useless. only delivers for signed receipt during my (and most people's) working hours. The nearest depot available was a 2h round trip from my house and they refused to let me change the delivery address. I only managed to receive the package by being very insistent on the (pay per minute) phoneline, at which point i was able to switch to a saturday delivery (which meant staying in all day waiting for the package). Please just use royal mail or a customer friendly courier, picking a package up from the nearest post office is so much easier.

  The item was ordered for mothers day and did not arrive plus the edges of paint work are a bit rough.
