The Cream of the Cotswolds is a collection of wonderful single-estate handmade award winning cheeses from the Cotswolds.
170g St Eadburgha Organic: a soft white rind Cotswold Brie produced by Gorsehill Abbey near Broadway. A Gold award winner at the British Cheese Awards - named after the Abbey! Approx 8cm wide x 4cm high.
150g Windrush Valley Goats Cheese: a beautiful pure fresh pasteurised vegetarian goats cheese from the Windrush Valley, near Burford, very near Wychwood Deli. A real little corker! Approx 5cm x 2.5cm.
250g Cerney Goats Cheese: Has won all the awards going! An unpasteurised vegetarian Valencay type cheese covered in sea salt and oak ash, with a crumbly snow white interior. Has a fresh mild flavour when young, developing into a fuller, deeper flavour as it matures. A well established favourite and popular even with those who don't normally like goats cheese. From North Cerney near Cirencester. Approx 8cm high x 8cm wide, tapered to the top.
115g Evenlode Partnership No.1 Little Wallop Goats Cheese: The first cheese from the Evenlode Partnership, Alex James and First Lady of Cheese Juliet Harbutt. Washed in Temperley Somerset Cider Brandy and wrapped in vine leaves, Little Wallop develops a medley of moulds and complex flavours; a bit nutty when young (aren't we all?), becoming silky, subtle and brandy scented with age - a top cheese from the Lady who knows...Approx 7cm x 3cm.
Supplied in a specialist food box, with insulating and protective liner, crinkle-cut raffia paper in light green and dry ice - all 100% recyclable.
