Peppercorns give the intense flavour but don't just try this with steak. This sauce is ideal with all meats and is great for basting roast chicken giving extra flavour to the gravy. Naturally great on the barbecue you can marinade your meat or vegetables first and add extra sauce at the end for more flavour. Very good with goat's cheese too!
