This beautiful large chest has been lovingly hand crafted by British Furniture Designer & Maker Miles Chambers. Featuring a spectacular Scottish Wych Elm burr wood lid with its swirls and knots and characterful waney edge. This piece is held together by traditional Mortise and Tenon joints. The frame and side handles are made of solid English Oak. The front and side panels are made of reclaimed pine. Inside the lid is held by natural cotton rope and bound with heavy duty thread. This large chest is ideal for storing blankets and throws.

With the warm colour of Oak and characterful texture of burr Elm these chests make fine quality pieces for the natural contemporary home. As wood is a natural material colours may vary from the chests shown in the photographs.
