This fine quality blanket chest is lovingly hand crafted by British Furniture Designer & Maker Miles Chambers. It is made of Solid British Hard wood like English Oak or Scottish Wych burr Elm with its beautiful swirly grain and smooth natural waney edge. This piece is held together by traditional Mortise and Tenon joints. It has a solid English Oak frame and side handles and reclaimed pine front and side panels. Inside the lid is held by natural cotton rope and bound with heavy duty thread. Its long and slim shape makes this beautiful chest ideal for placing at the end of a bed. Perfect for storing away blankets and throws!
