British Hardwood & Solid Oak Storage Bench by Under the Oak Tree
This exquisitely designed and beautifully hand crafted Storage Bench has been designed and lovingly hand crafted by British Furniture Designer & Maker Miles Chambers as a hallway piece with a pull open storage area beneath the seat. Inside, a natural hessian strap is held in place by a reclaimed mother of pearl button. Under the storage area is a rack designed to store the families shoes. This is a truly unique piece that you will not find on any High Street!
The back rest and draw front are made from smooth curved or waney edge wood for a rustic look with a solid English Oak frame and reclaimed pine panels.
This solid, timeless piece is carefully hand crafted using traditional wood skills and is built to be loved and cherished for generations. Every piece is lovingly made to order especially for you (we do not hold stock) making each item entirely unique therefore some design details may vary slightly to those shown in the photograph. Due to the nature of natural and reclaimed materials like wood the colour and texture may also vary. Please note that if you would like this piece to go with existing furniture we advise you mention this when placing your order. The bench in the photograph has been finished using a natural wax. If you would like to achieve a different look, you could request the wood is left in its natural state or limed white. Please note we do not use any harmful substances on any of our furniture, therefore we do not offer a painted or varnished finish.
