Inspired by the Welsh saying "Bwrw Hen Wragedd a Ffyn" or "Raining Old Women and Sticks", this luxury umbrella is edged with a tangle of delightfully rickety old ladies and their various walking aids. A creatively Celtic alternative to the English "Cats and Dogs".
The illustrations on Squiggles umbrellas from Um... are designed in Cornwall by Tricia Stubberfield. They follow a single line or few lines to create a unique mesh-like pattern which is intriguingly beautiful up close and delightfully different from a distance.
Old Women and Sticks features an extra inner layer (dark grey on the blue version and black on the grey version), an automatic push button and grippable curved handle, all of which add to the luxurious feel of the umbrella.
