A fabulously chunky salt pig to sit by your cooker. Don't scrabble around looking for the salt cellar when you are cooking. The hood keeps the salt clean and dry.
Part of the Loch Long Stoneware range of rustic functional tableware, handmade by Tom Butcher in Scotland. Due to the hand made nature of these pieces and the reduction firing process, both glaze and body may alter in colour slightly depending on where they are positioned in the kiln. Items may vary slightly from those shown, but this only adds to the charm.
The oatmeal glaze used is food safe. Crackles within the glaze may appear after extended use – this is a natural feature of this glaze and does not affect its porosity.
