If like us, you harbour fond memories of childhood crabbing sessions on Salcombe's Victoria Quay you'll love our unique crabbing kit which applies vintage detailing to an age old seaside pursuit which we've revamped for the 21st century.
For those who've been out of the loop for a while, the frustration of limp-wristed crabs dropping off a hand line is so last century. Modern crabbing now utalises a weighted net with a hook-free spring bait trap in its centre. Even the most seasoned crab will struggle to avoid a short stay in a colourful quayside bucket.
Our design features a camouflaged brown net with galvanised metal rings round the perimeter, 10 metres of brown line and a wooden hand winder. So much nicer and more durable than the cheap brittle orange plastic winders which always seem to end up broken. Ours shouldn't do that as they are supplied in a recycled sailcloth bag which can be personalised with a fabric pen or permanent marker. Alternatively we can personalise in matching typeface for a small charge. No more carpark tantrums between siblings over who owns what and so much easier to store safely in the garage at the end of the holiday.
The recycled sailcloth bag is hand washable to remove the inevitable smokey bacon taint.
