The Primitive Pantry

Welcome to my store, my name is karen james and i am the owner of the Primitive Pantry which was opened in 2004 and is based at a craft centre in Essex.I have been painting and designing for many years with many of my designs being published in well known craft magazines.

Alphabet Attic letters were designed by me as i could not find the right type of letters to decorate a nursery at a price i thought was reasonable, they have become so popular that i now spend most of my time painting them and each set painted is as unique as the person they are intended.

We also stock a wonderful selection of handcrafted items our latest the personalised toy box. The box's are made from sustained pine, hand constructed and hand finished.
