This gift contains a young fig tree in terracotta pot (ready for the garden or conservatory) accompanied with a delicious jar of award winning fig jam and a jar of delicious fig and onion marmalade to enjoy whilst they wait for their first harvest of figs.
All of this comes lovingly hand packaged in one of our famous wooden crates which is lined with wax paper and then hand tied with large raffia bows at either end

Hello Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write to us. We are extremely sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the size of your purchase. Obviously at this time of year the fig trees are only just coming back to life after the cold winter months and so in the next few months will quickly put on growth. The crates themselves can be used for the following: A planter for vegetables or herbs – line with plastic to protect the wood ( and keep the compost in)– don’t forget to pierce holes in the bottom for drainage. Use gravel or bark to create a layer in the bottom to allow drainage and then cover with a multi-purpose compost and plant with whatever takes your fancy. Apple Storage – apply layers of newspaper in between each layer to allow air to circulate. Storage box – for logs for the fire, Veg box, children's toys. The tree was a lot smaller and less well developed than I was expecting and the crate was not reusable - so although the gift was still good, I felt it was a bit overpriced.
