The Black Company
"You can wear black at any time. You can wear black at any age. You may wear black on almost any occasion." Christian Dior 1954The Black Company is an exciting new internet site (and hosts private house parties and attends charity sales) specialising. as you may have guessed. in black clothes. With a selection of styles from formal to informal; a trouser suit. skirt. party top. t-shirts. a gorgeous long cardigan and more – these boutique pieces are the dependables for any wardrobe. Modern classic clothes - considered and creatively designed. The idea for The Black Company had been growing sub-consciously but blossomed during my time at Harpers & Queen. It was in this environment that it became obvious that wearing black. and especially from head to toe. was not only sophisticated and chic but flattering to every figure. To wear black is not an easy option but a simple idea that works every time. Black should be considered as much a colour as any other when planning your wardrobe. Our clients bring their own colour and magic to the versatility of our clothes and create their own style.
This first collection was designed in-house and the fabric and trimmings hand-picked so that all the pieces can be mixed and matched with a variety of materials and for any occasion. So. the trousers from the suit can just as well be worn for a concert or a drinks party with a pretty top. as to the office with our jacket. Custom trimmed suits are made to order.
We aim to deliver a personal service through our “invitation only” private parties. charity sales and our internet site interaction.
