The Bellwether is Claire Brown, professional needle-slinger and word-wrangler, based on Scotland's Clyde Coast. Set up in 2004, The Bellwether has grown from a passion for making by hand and has been has featured in places like Sunday Times Style magazine, The Guardian and even a few fleeting glimpses on TV.
With a penchant for the off-beat, and a desire to offer a whole new modern angle on cross stitch kits, The Bellwether aims to provide a touch of unconventionality to brighten up people's lives.
And if our designs don't quite hit the mark, we offer a custom-made service, where we can work with you to create personalised artwork to your specifications.
From pin badges to framed artwork, fridge magnets to coasters, The Bellwether has the perfect gift for everyone, especially those hard-to-buy for people!
