Commissioned Hand-bound French Journals by The Aviary
These photographs are an example of the type of corporate gift commissions that we undertake. This project was for a set of 45 hand-bound A5 journals for a business conference in Paris.
Over the space of 4 weeks we worked closely with the high profile client from concept to completion, sourcing the perfect materials at the right price. At their request, we carefully selected a beautiful array of vintage French maps, literature, stamps and souvenirs to give a flavour of France to each hand-bound book.
The front page inlays were also designed and printed by hand, and the retro-style, quality printed postcards were added as a finishing touch for each person to keep as an additional memento.
