Hello and welcome to my comical world of animal characters!

When I was a child my mum would make immaculate little outfits for us on her Singer sewing machine. As soon as I could I would be on there making terrible ill-fitting clothes for my teddies. I went on to do a degree in Textiles and then to design toys that reminded me of my own childhood. There are lots of popular culture references from the 70s and 80s – especially my favourite tv shows and music like the A Team or Big Daddy.

I like to draw my characters from nature and like them especially if they're in some kind of pose (like my polar bear who looks like he's going to wrestle you to the floor). I've also been illustrating my characters which is great fun. I've now produced a range of babygrows, wrapping paper, bookmarks, mugs and sticky tape.
