Stuck for Words

Stuck for Words grew from the desire of two small boys (mine) to own real pirate t-shirts. As I couldn't find anything on the market I was happy to buy, I ended up painting my own.

From those first skull 'n' crossbones, the range has now grown up with my boys to include images of many more of their favourite things. There are even some designs they have drawn themselves. And of course we've included some themes that appeal to their girl friends too!

Every item is lovingly handpainted in my laundry room, before being carefully wrapped in tissue paper and posted out. In my personal campaign against labelling on children's clothes, there are none on our products. Instead, every tissue-wrapped parcel has a label tied around it. This label is personalised for the recipient, but also contains washing guidelines and your order number.

Despite fears to the contrary, children and white clothes can go together. Ours have been significantly roadtested on my own two typical boys and have stood the test of time. Your only problem in keeping them clean might be persuading your children to take them off for long enough to put them in the washing machine.

Our designs are simple, bold and created to appeal to the child in us all. We hope you will love them as much as we do.
