Hand carved from a single piece of 2" thick quarter-sawn FSC ( Forestry Stewards Council ) certified British oak, our carvers use a gentle "fall" and the planetary principle of gravity, to drain all the juices into a realistically large trough. They will accomodate the largest of joints and are a joy to behold and use.
They come into their own as a carver, but are suitable for everyday use in the kitchen - cut enough tomatoes and you know what a mess that can make...
Measurements vary but are roughly 20" X 14" X 2" with the trough to the front edge.
As each is entirely unique, they make a great personal gift.
