Meadow Doorstop by Snapdragon
A doorstop made from 100% British wool and Scottish tweed.
The design is embroidered with freehand machine embroidery - the sewing machine needle is used like a pen to draw poppy seedheads and scabious in a meadow. The embroidery is in charcoal thread on cream fulled wool. The thistle also has purple embroidery.
The design is based on sketches made in the meadow behind my cutting garden.
Each doorstop is made individually by hand and is unique.
The handle on the top can be used to hang up the doorstop when not in use.
c. 18 cm high .
Filled with wheat and organic lavender to gently scent your home - especially good if you have underfloor heating!
