This A6 notebook is handmade in Scotland from recycled and vintage fabrics. Each notebook is made individually - sketched with the sewing machine - and each is unique.
The notebook can be personalised with up to 5 words embroidered onto the label "Jilly's special jams"; "Grandma's best recipes" - whatever you like.
The cover is removable and will fit any A6 notebook so, when the notebook is full it can be easily replaced. The cover can be handwashed carefully and dried flat.

I am sorry that you feel the notebook that you bought was too expensive. I feel that we offer excellent value for money. The A6 notebook with cover that you ordered is made from a very high quality 100% wool fabric which is spun, woven and fulled in Yorkshire. This fabric retails at over £30 a metre, we then appliqué a design using vintage fabrics onto it. The notebook inside is made by Sea whites of Brighton and is high quality cartridge paper, it retails on its own - without embroidered cover - for £4.50. We make these embroidered notebooks to order and offer personalisation and postage for free. All work is done in our Scottish workshop, providing local jobs, it is not outsourced to other countries where labour costs are lower. I hope that this helps explain the work that goes into making our notebooks and that you feel happier about having bought one. I think that you will find that other websites are offering a lower quality item.
