  These are a little smaller than they look in the picture but are very good quality, beautifully packaged and make lovely gifts. Excellent value.

  For £8.95 including postage and packaging I don't think this is good value for money.

  Came with a short bit of elastic with no way of fastening and didnt fit my daughters long name either

We are passionate about customer service and always strive to make sure you have a great experience with us. The length of the elastic is specified by UK Trading Standards who regulate the length based on the average neck measurements of a child together with health and safety guidelines. We also use stretchy elastic cord that is simply tied together (rather than using jewellery fastenings) for safety reasons as it makes the necklace easier for the child to take on and off and the stretch prevents any risk of strangulation. Please could I ask you to measure the length of the cord received just in case we have mistakenly sent you a bracelet length cord instead of a necklace length, as having checked the names that you ordered, you should easily be able to fit these onto the necklace. We are of course more than happy to provide a replacement cord for you if required. Please could I kindly ask you to contact us via your order enquiry so we can arrange this immediately for you.   Very dissapointing. This product does not look anything like the picture on the website. The beads are very cheap. The alphabet beads are badly printed and smudged and a number of them have splinters coming off of them. The coloured beads are badly dyed so very patchy and pale, and not stripey etc.. like the pictures on the site. A number of the beads have holes that are too small to take the elastic. And the elastic is terrible too, as the cotton pushes back from the elastic when you try to thead onto it. I would not consider this safe for children.

As conveyed in our recent correspondence, we work with renowned bead suppliers to provide you with the highest quality beads and in addition we also check every single bead for quality and hole size before despatching an order. The thread supplied is cotton covered for softness and comfort against a child's skin and is stretchy for your child's safety which is always our utmost priority. On this occasion, we sent slightly different beads because of the length of the name that you requested which was 11 letters long and when you add another 12 coloured beads it is too long to fit on a bracelet. We therefore thought it would be better to send slightly smaller beads which were a better fit and allowed the child to have their whole name on the bracelet. We also take pride in supplying good quality photographs that accurately portray the products that we supply. However as a result of your comments, we recognise that customers may also benefit from viewing an image of the kit contents rather than just the completed item and this will be added to the product details shortly. We are very sorry that you were unhappy with this item but will be happy to issue you with a refund as soon as we receive the item back from you.
