The ill fated first proposal to Elizabeth in which he confesses ‘ how ardently I admire and love you ‘ And finally Darcy asks for Elizabeth’s hand in marriage and is accepted. The love story is complete.

Pride and prejudice have been overcome as Darcy declares that ‘My affections and wishes are unchanged‘.
