Sir Plus makes exceptional quality clothing here in England, using off-cuts and surplus fabrics that are bought from tailors and factories.
The idea came about on a trip to a shirt makers on Jermyn Street, called Emma Willis. When Emma was asked how to make the perfect boxer short (for research purposes!) she explained that traditional shirt makers had used the material left over after an order of shirts. This was a lightning bolt for Sir Plus!
We then concentrated on contacting and befriending all of the best factories, tailors, shirt makers and seamstresses across the land, giving us access to rare wools, silks and cottons.
Not only does our method give us great variety, it's also up-cycling!
The items are traditional British garments, with an original twist. The pockets on our waistcoats are adorned with gingham and striped cotton piping. Other items in the range include pocket squares, scarves, and lovely cashmere socks. Our range is constantly evolving!
