Silk & Burg

Silk & Burg is run by Marie Pedersen, a 33 year old Dane who grew up in Luxembourg, and graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2002. After working in the design industry and spending a year in Berlin, Marie decided to design and make her own products from her studio in Hackney, East London.

All of Silk & Burg's products are hand screen printed by Marie in her studio, this traditional method gives the products a lovely personal and unique feel. Colours are also a prominant feauture, and they are all mixed by hand to ensure it's just the right hue. Inspiration is mostly drawn from heritage and culture; whether it be Luxembourgish, Scandinavian or British.

Our products will add a splash of colour to your home, and will always have a nice story behind them too.
