Twenty years of designing, making, buying and selling jewellery have made Sarah Lawrence Jewellery into what you see today. This collection entitled 'Nearest & Dearest' combines two of my favourite things... jewellery and family. Each piece is handcrafted in solid sterling silver and stamped with a personal message to create the perfect keepsake.

Like many girls my love of jewellery began when I was young and inspired me to follow my dream career and complete a BDes(Hons) in jewellery and metalwork at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Scotland. After graduating in 1997 I have worked and exhibited in galleries across the UK and Europe. I have developed and taught jewellery making classes in Bradford and Leeds City Colleges. I opened and ran my own shop for eight years in Leeds before family life took over and I now have a workshop in my home. I feel incredibly lucky to do something that I love and that I can manage it around being at home with my children. This does result in some very late nights but is totally worth it.

This latest chapter would not be possible if it wasn't for Not On The High Street and I am very grateful that they have developed this wonderful platform for individual craftspeople like myself to be able to sell to people with an eye for something personal and different.

I pride myself in the originality of the design and quality of the craftsmanship. As every piece is made entirely by hand and every letter individually stamped no two pieces are ever the same.
