They began as a present for a friend so that they would have a beaker to drink out of to suit their mood. The first beakers had impressed text and no glaze on the outside. Then each piece was thrown by hand fired, glazed, fired, then the text was applied and the pots fired for the last time. Now each cup is slipcast in Stoke on Trent. The cups are large holding over half a litre and are made from bone china. Avaliable with the following text
