Beautifully detailed, handmade print of a Hebrew Song-Man's Prayer
For anyone who has experienced the beauty and hold of World Songs, this Hebrew Song lifts you up and really makes you wonder of the human strengths we posses. It is a famous poem by Hannah Szenes (1921-1944), one that was beautifully sung by Sophie Milman which is how I first came about it and a poem that is dear to my heart at a time when things were truly difficult and trying. It made me think of something I was once told- God doesn't burden one more than can bear.
It translates to:
My God, My God
May these things never end: The sand and the sea
The rustle of the water
The lightning in the sky
Man's prayer

Made from non-toxic inks, and printed on handmade Italian textured paper (cream/Off-white) or White Textured.
Due to the nature of handmade, all products vary slightly making each one unique as all inks are hand mixed and printed.
all prints come unframed | always store all artwork away from direct sunlight to keep it from discolouring/fading
