Product Care & Usage
When you first try our all natural concentrated creams, you may find them a little richer than standard commercial water based products. Initially apply sparingly - you may be surprised how little you need.
Some people like to dampen their face a little before applying. Your skin will absorb what it needs and hopefully be grateful to you. Usually people report seeing a difference within 7 to 30 days. Every batch is handmade using traditionally trusted artisan methods incorporating only natural raw ingredients as they are found in nature. With these methods and ingredients, there can sometimes be variation in the colour, texture and scent of the finished cream. This will not affect the quality and efficacy of your product - I promise…
Our creams and oils are natural concentrates. They do not contain water. This is fundamentally what enables us to avoid using chemical emulsifiers and preservatives. It is very important to keep the product free from water, so please clean and dry your hands prior to dipping into the pot, or do as I do and use a little fresh cotton bud.
Please take care to store the products below 25C and away from direct sunlight to improve the stability and preserve function.
All products have a shelf life of 12 months if not open unless otherwise stated. Once opened they last around 6 months. During warm weather it is normal for them to become a little runnier - Do not worry; just stir and pop into the fridge. This will not affect the quality of your cream.
We really hope you enjoy our gentle, honest and completely natural produce.
From ‘Root and Flower’ with love to you x
