roddy&ginger was created in 2010 by graphic designer and illustrator Virginia Armstrong. Working from her studio in leafy south east London, Virginia drew her inspiration from a love of Scandinavian and mid-century design, folk art, illustration, colour and pattern to create striking homewares, prints and textiles for home and family.
Wallpaper was the next move and roddy&ginger's popular first design, Logpile, was launched in 2012. This was followed by the new Smalltown range in 2014, a simple design of tiny houses and lollipop trees in contemporary pastels or on trend monochrome.
All roddy&ginger products are hand screen printed or carefully manufactured in small batches in the UK or Europe.
