Here are a few of our favourite blinds!
London Underground: these stunning colourful blinds with their instantly recognisable tube destinations look amazing either on their own or as a set.
Sports related: for the sportsmen out there we have a selection of blinds which might be just for you. Some wonderful 1960s generic sports titles including; stadium, racecourse & football ground as well as a variety of blinds for Wembley and many more!
London: a small collection of our popular London destination blinds including; Elephant & Castle, Hoxton and Trafalgar Square.
Non-London: a variety of non-London destinations in yellow on black, white on black and black on white.
Panel blinds: something a little extra-special. These panel blinds are extremely rare and wonderful. Just in: this large Bournemouth panel blind is made from one single section of linen blind (not strips joined together). The linen has a wonderful aged look from years of coastal service. A truly unique and stunning blind.
It measures 108x79cm and is framed in a contemporary white frame (3cm width) which enhances the iconic white typeface for these locations.
Unique: an eclectic mix of fab destinations to cater for everyone. Pinewood for the film buff, Winfrith [A.E.E] (Dorset's original 1950s atomic energy plant) for the budding scientist or the long time closed Windsor Safari Park for the animal lover! Along with some amazing titles such as Peppermint Bridge and Robin Hood Camp!
Coastal: lots to choose from to remind you of wonderful childhood holidays or time spent with with loved ones.
Schools: We have a very limited collection of vintage school name blinds with many of these dating back to the early 60s. Perfect for evoking school memories.
These blinds are truly one off items which you can purchase unframed or custom framed to order (at an additional cost) using a matt black wooden frame with no visible grain for a contemporary modern feel.
All vintage yellow typeface on black background blinds (as shown in the Marble Arch blind image) are denoted in the listings as *yellow typeface*. Unless stated all other blinds are white text on a black background.
Dimensions vary from blind to blind however typically the frame sizes are between 80-105cm in width.
Where there is a place name followed by smaller subtext we have put an * before and after. Example: Chelsea *worlds end* or please take a look at the main image for a visual example
