A family business based in the heart of Buckinghamshire countryside, Retreat Home offers a range of beautiful, unique gifts and home accessories.
The company was founded by MD Sam Green in 2006, following the birth of her son Louis. As a mum, Sam found that the daily commute and extensive travel she was used to as a buyer for big high street stores was incompatible with being the kind of mum she wanted to be, and she seized the opportunity to set up her own business, designing her own range of home accessories and gifts. 'I started with a budget of £2000 and an armful of designs,' she remembers.
From there, the company has gone from strength to strength, driven by Sam's passion for great design and excellent quality. New collections each season keep things beautifully fresh and make sure there is always something new on offer. Sam still designs the majority of products, which ensures Retreat Home's range stays unique and individual.
In addition to beautiful products, Retreat is very proud of their first class customer service. You, the customer, are at the very heart of everything Retreat does, from inspiring gifts, to fabulous home accessories, and superb customer care – gifts from the heart, made with love.
Our Products
Delivery
Our standard delivery cost is £4.75 within the UK. We dispatch items in stock within three working days of receiving your order. Expected delivery is within 7 working days, but is generally sooner. During busy periods we may take a little longer, but if your order is urgent then please let us know and we will try our best to meet any deadlines. All goods are sent by UK mail couriers, Monday to Friday only. A ll deliveries require a signature. Please give an address at which the parcel can be signed for. If required we can email any consignment tracking details to the customer so they can track their parcel on line. Non-mainland UK and remote area delivery times may vary by an additional 2-3 working days and may incur an additional delivery charge. This will be notified to you if applicable. Retreat cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by their distributors or any other third party. If the goods arrive and the customer believes the package has been either tampered with or there are obvious signs of damage, it is the customer’s responsibility to refuse to sign for the goods. We often deliver via courier services, therefore it is the customer's responsibility to give Retreat a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the delivery; after 3 attempted deliveries the courier will return the goods to us, and you may be charged for a second delivery.
