A lovely soft and silky scarf/scarflette for any season - it is hand-knitted from lightweight bamboo tape in a variety of beautiful soft colours and it comes with a detachable vintage button brooch to help make this versatile little scarf even more adaptable. The button brooches for these scarves are all individually sourced and so may vary slightly from the ones in the pictures. It can be worn long and loose around your neck or wrapped any number of times right up into a snuggly cowl for cooler evenings.
Bamboo is an environmentally friendly renewable resource which is not only biodegradable, antibacterial and easy to wear if you suffer from allergies but it also has ultra-violet protective properties. On top of all that, it is cool and breathable, beautifully soft and silky and it drapes wonderfully.
The scarf is hand wash only and mustn't be ironed but there is no need as it washes like a ribbon.
It measures 160cm (63") and is available in four colours - black, chocolate and storm.
The yarns I use are available in a variety of colours, if you would like to place a custom order for a different colour please contact me and I can see what I can do.
