Inspired by the Victorians' love of paper flowers (they used to fill their houses with them when there was no longer any in their gardens), the paper flowers in this work are carefully hand tied from little paper hearts. The papers I use are mainly cut from unwanted vintage books of romantic poetry and music.
THIS IS A PERFECT GIFT FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL - it makes a lovely present for a birth or christening, wedding or anniversary (the first anniversary is traditionally represented by paper), a new home or for any lover of books and flowers! EACH PIECE COMES WITH A SPECIAL GIFT CARD AND CAN BE GIFT WRAPPED ON REQUEST.
The nine little paper roses are mounted on white card within a surface-mounted antique white paper which is printed with a relevant quotation or personal message. There are four standard quotations available to which you can add your name or you can personalise this further with your own text or personal greeting. See below for suggestions and instructions.
DIMENSIONS OF FRAME 25.5 cm square and 4.5 cm deep. It is glazed with 2 mm perspex to protect the paper and sent to you in a specially made protective box. The work is signed on the back.
The frame is available in white or black.
The text on this piece is placed centrally underneath the paper roses and is available in two sizes: 10 point for a longish quotation and 18 point for a short piece of text such as names and dates of an event, e.g, Rose Anne Jamieson born 20th March 2012 or Jim and Andrea married 12th November 2011.
For the SMALLER TEXT option, choose from one of the following quotations or use one of your own and then add your own short personal message if desired. The overall text can be no longer than 80 characters including spaces. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS INCLUDING YOUR QUOTATION AND ANY ADDITIONAL TEXT... e.g; "For a house full of books, and a garden of flowers..." Love from Sarah & Jim x (79 characters)

"For a house full of books, and a garden of flowers..." plus personalisation e.g; Love from (please specify) or Happy New Home etc.
Option 2 (By Leo Buscaglia):
"A single rose can be my garden... a single friend, my world." plus personalisation e.g; Love from (please specify)
Option 3 (Swedish Proverb):
"If I had a rose for every time I thought of you, I'd be picking roses for a lifetime." plus personalisation e.g; date of wedding (please specify)
Option 4 (By Frederick Peterson):
"For you it is a Rose, For me it is my heart." (followed by personal message eg. Happy Anniversary x or Love from....)
Option 5:
If you would prefer to use your OWN MESSAGE or quotation - EITHER A SHORT PIECE OF UP TO 45 CHARACTERS, e.g; names and dates of an occasion such as a wedding or birth etc. OR A LONGER PERSONAL PIECE OF TEXT OF UP TO 80 CHARACTERS INCLUDING SPACES - just choose option 5 and write your words in the correct box when ordering.

The artwork was completed to my requests in a really short time. Vicky was incredibly accurate and both packaging and delivery went smoothly. The item was delivered in perfect conditions and it was a greatly appreciated gift. I am very likely to purchase other items from re:made in the near future. Overall really happy about the purchase.

The Artwork was intricate and detailed and exactly what I'd discussed with Vicky, its very gifted creator! It was very carefully packaged, delivered on the agreed date and beautifully presented on quality paper and in a solid frame. My friend was thrilled with the quotation from her favourite novel, "To Kill A Mocking Bird" and marvelled at the work involved in fashioning the little roses, crafted from pages of the book - very relevant to the whole theme! Vicky answered all of my queries promptly and cheerfully and supplied a product which matched its description exactly. Many thanks to Vicky and continued success with a fabulous product! I will definitely be ordering again!
