Prey is a small company started by a family based in Bath, who one day decided to start making stationery. Well, it wasn't that simple! Geraldine, who owned a shop in Bath and had dabbled in everything crafty from pottery to wig making, wondered whether she could make products as pretty as the ones she was buying. Her daughter, Dominique, was doing a course in illustration and spent far too much time on Photoshop. Over several cups of tea they decided to join forces and started creating conceptual print designs for cards and wrapping paper. Geraldine's husband John (the only sensible one) quit his job and came along for the ride, as no one else was good with spreadsheets! That was several years ago and now Prey is a flourishing design business that prints onto both stationery and mugs.
We have a wide selection of quirky stationery, everything from greetings cards to notebooks, using top quality paper printed locally in the UK. We take inspiration from both Victorian lithographs and modern design, as well as old eccentricities and vintage fabric that we've collected over the years. We aim to create unique designs for all occasions that convey the whimsy and style of our family company.
