This impressive but touching notebook is a perfect personalised present for that special someone who likes to keep notes.
The notebook cover is made from genuine vintage linen and appliquéd with either a golf or gardening hobby motif and free-hand embroidered with your choice of message.
The cover can be removed when the notebook is full and will fit all standard A6 and A5 notebooks. Based on customer feedback the notebook itself now comes in a casebound hardcover with 192, faintly ruled and recycled pages.
The notebook comes in two sizes:
(A6): 16.5x11cm
(A5): 21.5 x 15.5cm
All my items are beautifully wrapped in tissue paper.

I hope the following will help you understand the thought, quality of material and work that has gone into the creation of the notebook. The notebook covers are made from genuine vintage linen that is up to 100 years old and will last another few generations. Each design is hand cut and individually appliquéd onto the linen. The personalised message is freehand embroidered which is almost like handwriting with the needle. This method cannot be compared with computerised machine embroidery, where you type in the text into the computer and let the machine do the work. The soft cover notebook is made from recycled, ellie poo paper which is not only environmentally friendly but also helps Elephant conversation. Although the item is personalised, you are more than welcome to a full refund if required. 29 Dec 2011Personalised cover is good and was very much appreciated by the recipient. Quality of the notebook inside is not good, and is more in line with a £1 gift than a £20 gift.

Item as expected based on the website images and description, and I know the recipients will be delighted with their gifts (I ordered two). I felt the notebook was overpriced though, which is why I haven't given it an 'excellent'.
