Personalised Vegetable Growing Kit by Plantabox
Plantaboxes can now be enjoyed by the younger generation for creating their own vegetable growing patch. They'll love to see their own name on the crate and hopefully this will encourage ownership of their own range of produce!
This "aged" antique oak colour Plantabox comes complete with bespoke fitting lining, a bag of polystyrene chippings for drainage, a 24 cell seed tray to start off the seeds, a set of three metal garden tools in children's size and a set of seeds. The seeds are for cherry tomatoes, carrots, lettuce and sweetcorn and include instructions.
All you need is approx 30-35 litres of compost (half a standard size bag) and then you are ready to get to work. Instructions as to how to prepare the box are also included.
NB: Seeds can be planted between February and August (depending on the vegetable) but you could plant some winter vegetables now and save the seeds for spring next year.
Personalisation - included in the price. This will appear on ONE side of the box and can be up to 24 characters (incl. spaces and abbreviations) per line and two lines are available. Stencilling is in capitals only and the size used will depend on number of letters.
A great present idea - not only fun but educational too and you can eat your results!
