Made with recycled porcelain- I recycle the clay myself.
I am so proud of my snowflakes, they are my favorite! I love how simple but effective the design is and when held up the light shins through, showing off the lace patterned surface. These decorations can be hung anywhere in the home and add a touch of cute handmade sophistication! My babies are ready to flee the nest and are looking for a good home where they will be kept safe with a family who can celebrate their beauty!

Made from
The snowflakes are made from a low fire porcelain called Parin Body. The clay is rolled over lace to pick up its delicate texture and a slip-cast porcelain button is attached to the centre of the snowflake with holes put through for thread to be sewn through later. Once cleaned up and smoothed the snowflakes recieve there first firing, then a clear gloss glaze it added and there fired again. Snowflakes are each finished with gold thread sewn through the button hole and clear thread through the hole at the top providing a hanging solution.
