'Something Worth Turning Your Oven On For
It is well known that I am unable to turn my oven on. In my defence it is very complicated as it won't switch on without the clock being set and my flat's previous owner didn't leave the manual, so it would take a good 10 minutes to figure out (?!).
Anyhow, yesterday I got sent a link to Scarlet Bakes. They have come up with the genius idea of making cookie dough mix, which all you have to do is add eggs and butter to, shove in the oven and hey presto... fresh cookies that Delia would be proud of. They're available online and at various farmer's markets and specialist delis. Suddenly turning my oven on seems like a good plan and the shoes being stored there may have to find a new home.
Hmm... maybe not, I don't want to clutter up my living room with shoes like my best friend does. Maybe I might just use the Scarlet Bakes delivery option where they do the baking for you instead...'
