"This nest of three bowls, their form reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House ,is made from Buckram, a jute and hemp fabric traditionally used by bookbinders. Both hemp and jute are sustainable crops and require no fertilizers or pesticides and only use minimal water making efficient textile crops. The bowls are designed and made in Cornwall in the UK and can be used purely as decorative pieces or as baskets for bread or fruit."
The Buckram Bowls have been nominated as an 'Eco Icon' by 'Finding Eco Website.
