In the vanguard of small firms set up by designers, Candy Queen began in 2003 when Karoline Mileham created a small range of light switches and cupboard knobs using clear resin embedded with real sweets and biscuits. There are now 200 plus designs, all hand-made in a workshop based in a listed barn in Hertfordshire. Karoline is determined to stick to her 'Made in the UK' policy.
