A stunning handmade, fair trade and eco friendly leather covered photo album. The leather is embossed and has been emblazoned with a semi precious stone.
Ideal for anyone who has a passion for photos, sketching, painting or just doodling.
These photo albums have 30 pages, each interleaved with tissue paper, and can hold up to 240 photos; they are made with khadda paper, made from recycled cotton (also known as kaddi or khaddi) that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India.
They are handmade and don’t contain any chemicals as we only use unbleached cotton.
The paper is made by a charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages.
This leather photo album is available simply embossed or, for a more intrepid look it can be stitched around the outside.

The semi precious stones that have been stitched onto these leather albums have been handpicked by us for quality and size and may differ from the image shown as we use a mixture of tiger’s eye, lapis, Labourite and black onyx. Please let us know if you would like a particular stone. Each of these leather albums have been carefully and expertly stitched around the outside to give a more intrepid feel.
We are a fair trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure the highest standards are met. We also quality control all our products to ensure that you only receive the best products available.
We pay our suppliers 50% upfront and send money to them whenever they need it and we never send anything back, even if it’s damaged. To incentivise the staff, we have a bonus system in place and they can earn up to 5% of our total order value, which can equate to an extra month’s wages per year.
The leather has been tanned by our suppliers and the albums have been crafted using a mixture of love, contemporary and traditional skills. The embossing has been expertly created using small individual handmade tools making each album unique.
Due to the nature of these leather photo albums the embossed pattern might not be the same as on the image.
The pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for travelling. And these beautiful books don’t have to be used as a photo album, they’re also perfect to use as a scrap book or art book, doodle book or diary, and the paper is great for water-colour painting. To use it as a photo album, photos can be added using photo corners (available in any good photography shop), spray mount or just glue.
This product comes packaged in a re-sealable bag and is sent 1st class as standard. The post is not always as reliable as it might be, so please leave five days for delivery.
Due to the fact that these products are individual, rustic and handmade, the colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.

The outer cover is much thinner than I thought it would have been and overall the album is quite floppy. It’s not what I was expecting but it is beautiful.
