The paper comes from a charity in Sri Lanka called the Maximus Conservation Trust and is the ultimate in recycled paper.
The brass design on the front has been hand-cut and as such may vary from the designs shown although you can rest assured that each one is a beautiful addition to the frame.
Variations
Available in 3 sizes to fit either a 6x4, 5x3.5 or 3.5x3.5 inch photo.
There’s no glass or plastic cover over the window and no fiddly hooks to place the photo in the frame at the back, just a discrete slot to slip it through at the top. No fuss, no un-planet-friendly materials!
These frames have an attached stand, for a portrait or landscape orientation on a flat surface.

All of our handmade elephant dung paper products are made from 75% elephant dung and 25% recycled paper.
This product has been handmade by Trickledown in Sri Lanka.
Founded in 1993, Trickledown started as a manufacturer of recycled paper products. Today, they use a whole range of sustainable materials in their work, including paddy husk, banana, pineapple, and elephant dung.
With the core value of empowering their artisans through the development and support of their crafts, the largely female team provide fairly paid opportunities to improve the lives of their workers and their communities.
