This was a big hit at Christmas with my 5 year old daughter. There are a lot of plastic dotctor's kits around that all have similar cheap looking plastic bits. This kit is very different - the case is hard, woody cardboard with a magnetic catch and looks smart and fun. The items inside are soft and large and are more interesting than the plastic stuff you get - it incudes a doctor's mask which is a great idea as it adds an element of dress-up as well. The blood pressure pump squeaks when squeezed and there are also velcro attach bandages which are easy for a child to fit. When deciding whether to purchase this it felt like a bit of a gamble as I wasn't sure what to expect because it's not a standard plastic kit but I would highly recommend this, it's such a cute set. Just about every doll and soft toy in the house has been bandaged and given their medicine and some have even had operations!
