This New Home Postcode Map Print On Wood features a detailed location map centred on a postcode with a placemarker symbol added.
The personalised postcode map can be centred on any location in the world. It is a perfect present to give as a House Warming or New Home gift. A very thoughtful and truly unique gift. The print technique I use gives the artwork a gorgeous timeless look. The birch ply wood is from sustainable sources - the subtle wood grain shows through the printed image to enhance the beauty of the map. The natural variations of colour and tone add to the character of the handmade nature of the item, making each map a truly unique ‘one off’.
Variations
This item is printed onto birch plywood, you can choose to have the wood colour left natural as it is or to be given a light whitewash of paint before printing. The whitewash gives the finished article a brighter appearance as there is more contrast between the background and the map print.
This item is small enough to stand on a shelf or mantelpiece but can also be hung on the wall. It is supplied with a concealed hanger for easy hanging from a picture pin or nail. I also offer this item framed in a simple white or black wood profile. You may prefer this as it gives the artwork a more contemporary style. Simply select Framing via the options menu when placing your order.
Once you have decided on a location for your map simply enter the full address of the location required in the Location box to place the order. Each map varies but as a general rule the maps cover an area of 1km square.

The wood used for the unframed print is 17.5cm x 17.5cm x 1cm.
The wood used for the framed print is also 17.5cm x 17.5cm but it is 2cm thick.
The frame adds 4.5cm x 4.5cm x 1cm onto the original wood size therefore the overall size of the framed artwork is 22cm x 22cm x 3cm.
Packaging: All of the protective packaging used by Northern Logic to ship orders is made from recycled paper based materials, and can be recycled in your household paper & card recycling bin.

The maps for locations in England, Scotland and Wales are sourced with permission from Ordnance Survey OS 1:25,000 Mapping @ Crown copyright and database rights 2024. Ordnance Survey licence No: 100054681
For all other worldwide locations the maps used to create this product are licenced from Digital Wisdom Inc. or sourced from OpenStreetMap.org

Please make sure that you have created a customer account and are not checking out as a guest or you will not recieve my messages. To view your jpg please log into your account on the notonthehighstreet.com website, go to the 'my orders' section and then click the 'contact the seller' button on the relevant order. The jpg will appear at the top of the discussion page as a link which will open when you click on it. If the postcode is rural it may cover a number of houses or large area so please check the proof to ensure it is centred correctly.
