Recycled Sari Photo Album by Nkuku
These albums are handmade from recycled traditional heavy saris; some up to 25 years old. The sari’s come in assortment of rich colours made from luxurious silk threads. This ensures that each album is unique.
To help protect your photographs, this album contains handmade acid-free cotton paper and interleaves. The paper is strong and known to last hundreds of years without deterioration or fading; this makes it ideal for archiving photographs. The cotton used to make our paper is not grown specifically for papermaking. Instead we collect cotton left over from the clothing industry which would otherwise go to waste.
Each album is handmade in accordance with fair trade.
Other ideas: Nkuku albums are also great for sketching, oil painting or as scrap books.
